Online and In-Person Neurodivergent-Friendly Therapy in Texas
I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) licensed in Texas. I provide outpatient psychotherapy to teens and adults ages 15 and older. Clients must be physically located in Texas at the time of sessions.
I work with teens and adults (15+) in Texas who suspect or are newly diagnosed with ADHD and/or identify as highly sensitive (HSP) and who are experiencing burnout, chronic self-doubt, or patterns of over-functioning, especially in relationships.
Many of the people I work with are capable, caring, and driven and yet feel exhausted from constantly doing more and still feeling like they’re not enough.
Who This Work Is a Good Fit For
This work is a strong fit for people who:
· Suspect ADHD or are adjusting to a recent ADHD diagnosis
· Identify as highly sensitive (HSP) and feel things deeply
· Over-extend themselves to compensate, perform, or avoid disappointing others
· Struggle with low self-confidence, relational anxiety, people-pleasing, or chronic burnout
Simply put, I help highly sensitive (HSP) and neurodivergent teens and adults slow down, understand long-standing patterns, and reduce burnout and self-doubt without pressure to fix themselves or perform wellness.
Services I Offer
I provide outpatient psychotherapy for teens and adults (15+) in Texas who identify as highly sensitive and/or suspect or have recently been diagnosed with ADHD.
Therapy may focus on:
· Understanding neurodivergent patterns and nervous system responses
· Reducing shame and self-criticism
· Addressing burnout, over-functioning, and people- pleasing
· Navigating anxiety and self-doubt in relationships
· Building more sustainable ways of living and relating
While I do not provide formal ADHD diagnostic assessments or medication management, I support clients in making sense of their experiences and applying insights in daily life. I also support clients in making the potential decision whether to pursue testing and medication assessment and to find referrals for such services.
How I Work
My approach is relational, trauma-informed, and grounded in nervous system awareness. I aim to create a space where clients feel understood rather than analyzed, and supported rather than pushed.
Therapy with me is collaborative and intentionally paced, particularly for clients who have spent much of their lives overriding their own needs. I integrate EMDR-informed and attachment-based perspectives, with an emphasis on nervous system safety, self-connection, and relational clarity. We will be well matched if you want support that honors depth, nuance, and emotional complexity. I’m a therapist who is steady, warm, and non-judgmental.
When This Is Not the Right Fit
I’m not be a fit for:
· ADHD diagnostic evaluations, autism evaluations, or psychological testing
· Medication management
· Crisis, emergency, or same-day mental health support
· Complex dissociative disorders requiring specialized or higher-level care
· Inpatient treatment, partial hospitalization (PHP), intensive outpatient programs (IOP), or intensive substance use treatment
